Path of Exile 2 Is On Its Way | Diablo 4 Encounters A Truly Competitor

Diablo's Tough Competitor Path of Exile 2
Diablo VS Path Of Exile

Path of Exile 2 has been very quiet since it was officially announced in late 2019, due in part to some delays caused by COVID-19. Right now the free-to-play action Role-Playing Game sequel has once again surfaced with a brand new trailer and a brand new twenty minutes walkthrough. And once PoE 2 is available, and that will be a brand new beginning for all Path of Exile gamers to start the Primitive Accumulation of Capital, what I am talking about is the PoE currency and some other gems.

Downbelow comes a trailer, which already shows a taste of the game’s second act as well as its combat.

As you can see that I am no Path of Exile expert, therefore, the very first thing that leaps out to me over here is how much prettier is than the very first game. Path of Exile has had a very regular updates but still remains an eight years old game, at this point. It’s pretty nice to watch some swarms of things that die against high-resolution textures.

The fully twenty-minute walkthrough (now has already embedded below) explains more about the structure of the game’s second act (of a planned seven), and presents its brand new crossbow and spear weapon classes. Crossbows grant attacks skills you could customize with bolt skill gems while spears grant you mobility skills, allowing you to dash into combat for damage bonuses. Anyway, in both instances, the combat seems quite influential, and when it comes to the graphical upgrade seemingly has not forced the studio Grinding Gear Games to cut down the number of enemies you will be battling at one time.

Considered its length, there are more details in the video that I could reasonably call out in the article. I especially want to use the permafrost bolts in this crossbow, by doing that so I could then shatter enemies with a second hit. For me, what impresses me the most is the rocks at around 6 minutes into the video that turn into spiders and then roll to attack the gamer.

Path of Exile 2 is due to enter beta sometime in 2022, which means it could theoretically end up going head to head with Diablo 4.
